Personal Information We Collect

This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit taikocommunityalliance.org and affiliate sites, taikocalendar.org, taikojam.com, and natc.taikocommunityalliance.org (the “Site”).

    1. When you visit the Site, we collect pieces of information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and certain cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, information is collected about the individual web pages viewed, the websites or search terms that referred you to the Site, and information on how you interact with the Site. We refer to this automatically-collected information as “Device Information.”

HOW DO WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?: Device Information that we collect helps us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our visitors browse and interact with the Site, and assess the success of our advertising campaigns).
    4. SHARING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION: We share your Personal Information with third parties to help us use your Personal Information as described in Section C above. For example, Google Analytics is utilized to help us understand how our visitors use the Site.

    6. DO NOT TRACK: We do not alter our Site’s data collection and use practices when we see a Do Not Track signal from your browser.
    7. YOUR RIGHTS: For European residents, you have the right to access personal information we hold about you and ask that your personal information be corrected, updated, or deleted. If you would like to exercise this right, please contact us through the Contact Us form. Additionally, if you are a European resident, your information will be transferred outside of Europe, including to Canada and the United States where this Site operates from.

All event, organization, and company names used in this website are of nominative use, only as necessary for identification purposes. Use of names, logos, and brands, if any, does not imply endorsement by, or affiliation with, Taiko Community Alliance.

TCA Copyright Complaint Policy

    1. Infringement Notification

      1. If you believe in good faith that material hosted by us infringe on your copyright and you wish to request we remove the material, please provide the written information requested below. The following procedure is exclusively for notifying TCA that your copyrighted material has been infringed. Please provide the following information in the provided format (including Section Numbers):
        1. A clear identification of the original copyrighted work you claim was infringed.
        2. A clear identification of the material you claim is infringing the copyrighted work, and information that will allow us to locate that material on the Site such as a link to the infringing material
        3. Your contact information, so we can reply to your complaint, preferably including an email address and telephone number.
        4. Please include the following statement: “I have a good faith belief that the material that is claimed as copyright infringement is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.”
        5. Include the following statement: “I swear, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notification is accurate and I am the copyright owner, or am authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner, of material that is allegedly infringed.”
        6. The notice must be signed by the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner of material that is allegedly infringed.

    2. Repeat Infringer Policy

      1. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”) and other applicable law, Taiko Community Alliance (TCA) has adopted a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances and at TCA’s sole discretion, subscribers or account holders who are deemed to be repeat infringers. TCA may also at its sole discretion, limit access to the Site and/or terminate the accounts of any users who infringe any intellectual property rights of others, whether or not there is any repeat infringement.
