The Taiko Community Alliance (TCA) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization with a mission to empower the people and advance the art of taiko. We honor this mission with core values of respect, heritage & evolution, empowerment, inclusivity, and transparency.

TCA was the first nonprofit outside of Japan to provide art services and resources to taiko practitioners. We seek to strengthen the network of taiko practitioners in North America, share traditions and repertoire, document the history of taiko, and support the development of the art form.

2023 TCA Volunteer Appreciation Song Project:

An annual tradition started by Ger Tysk, Tamiko Ooka, and our Volunteer Committee in 2022. We use this song to recognize our volunteers and show gratitude through what taiko people do best - playing together! We’re so excited to have you collaborating with TCA on this new iteration of the TCA Volunteer Song!
