TCA is seeking two interns for our new Summer Internship Program. The primary purpose of this internship will be to help prepare for and support the TCA Launch Meeting, which is being held August 23-25, 2013 at Stanford University. By assisting with the preparations for this meeting, you will have a chance to meet and interact with leaders of the North American taiko community. Throughout this process, you will also be introduced to the dynamics and operations of a non-profit arts organization in its formative period. This is primarily an administrative internship.

- Marketing and communications
- Assisting in general administrative office work
- Other duties as time and experience allow
You must be a currently enrolled college student.
International students must be legally permitted to work in the US.
Previous taiko experience and a current driver’s license are preferred but not necessary. Working knowledge of Apple computers is helpful.
Honorarium = $1,000. Housing and transportation are not included.
40 hours/week, Monday thru Friday, August 5 to August 30. Interns will be working at the San Jose Taiko Office in San Jose Japantown. Additional hours will be required August 23-25, on-site at Stanford University.
