Farewell Message from Executive Director

Greetings all!

I want to thank everyone that I’ve met this year as Executive Director of the Taiko Community Alliance, for the warm and engaging way you have accepted me into the taiko community and the job.

It has been my pleasure to serve as TCA’s first Executive Director, and I truly value the time I have spent getting to know literally dozens of you and helping to launch this important and vital new organization.

While there is still a great deal of work yet to be done by YOU, TCA’s passionate member volunteers and the newly elected Board of Directors, I have every bit of faith, that everyone will step up to the challenge.

TCA’s recent grant from the California Arts Council proves that the organization is viable and fundable. Once our current fiscal problems are satisfactorily resolved (and I know that they will be), I have no doubt that the organization will continue to grow and flourish; but only with your continued support.

For those of you who I am leaving in mid-conversation (you know who you are!) I apologize. Please feel free to contact me at bruce@taikocommunityalliance.org which will remain active for at least the next 30 days, so we may continue to stay in touch.

Thank you all again for your support of me in this job. It has been fun, exciting (especially NATC!) and I hope I have been able to make the taiko community a little bit better, for it.

And remember, it’s ALWAYS, all about the music………..
