Workshop leaders will receive a teaching stipend of $250 per workshop, complimentary registration for NATC, and free room and board if staying in dorm housing on campus. If staying in a hotel, a subsidy of comparable value will be given, currently estimated at $300 per person. Compensation may increase as resources allow.
A small committee of experienced taiko teachers will vet Workshop Proposals. The NATC Committee will accept or reject workshop proposals based on the recommendations and will notify all applicants of their decision no later than October 31, 2014.
