Thank you to all who pledged by the June 30th deadline. We have good news: TCA has secured a fiscal sponsor! MarinLink will be processing pledge payments for TCA to ensure that all of you receive tax benefits for your generous pledges to TCA! We are truly grateful for your pledges, and belief in our commitment to empowering the people and furthering the art of taiko.
Our plan for pledge collection is as follows:
September 8th: Emails will arrive in your inboxes outlining the amount of your membership and donation pledges received over the past year with a link and information on how to submit payment. You will have the option of submitting payment via Paypal or a mailed check.
Please be sure to check your SPAM folders and alternate tabs for the email from membership@taikocommunityalliance.org. If you believe that you haven’t received your pledge collection email, please notify our team by emailing membership@taikocommunityalliance.org.
HELP– Due to the widespread nature of our organization, and to save trees and money, we are opting to fulfill pledges via email. Please assist friends and fellow taiko players who may not be as tech savvy or email inclined by reminding them to look for the TCA pledge collection email. If someone would like to pay by check, they can print out their letter and mail with a check to:
Membership Department
Taiko Community Alliance
P.O. Box 26895
San Jose, CA 95159
September 22nd and continuing afterward: Thank you letters including tax information will be mailed to you at the postal address provided on your membership pledge form.
*Our goal is to collect 100% of our pledges within a month of our initial email!
**As special motivation, all active (paid) charter members will receive priority registration and discounted rates for the 2015 North American Taiko Conference.
For more information, please check out our TCA FAQ PAGE, which has been updated with pledge collection questions. Email membership@taikocommunityalliance.org with direct inquiries.
