Drummer’s Circle!
Join the TCA
This fundraiser directly supports TCA and our programing in the community, including the North American Taiko Conference.
The theme of the 2025 Drummer’s Circle is, ‘what do you bring to the circle?’ and relies on the principles of kumi-daiko or ensemble drumming. Taiko groups rely on many different aspects and instruments, big or small, making beautiful sounds together. In the same way, TCA relies on all of our community and your contributions, to be able to offer events and programming to the community that we love, such as NATC!
If you have attended a NATC in the past, you know what a big impact it can have on a taiko player’s journey, on artists, on practitioners new and experienced, and also to the host committee who can share their hometown with a world’s worth of taiko friends and visitors.
TCA has undergone many changes in recent times, as have many taiko groups, arts groups, and indeed many of us in all spheres of our lives. These are not easy times. But taiko remains a strong and beautiful force to bring us together to celebrate joy, perseverance, and connection.
Please join our Drummer’s Circle and support TCA into the future, one where we can share taiko together!

We are the Taiko Community Alliance. TCA is a California-based non-profit organization dedicated to empowering the people and advancing the art of taiko. We honor this mission with core values of respect, heritage & evolution, empowerment, inclusivity, and transparency.
In 2013, we became the first non-profit outside of Japan to provide art services and resources to taiko practitioners. We continue to grow in North America and beyond as we seek ways to communicate our love of taiko, share traditions and repertoire, and support the development of the art form.
We are thrilled to work with taiko communities all over the world as they beat their bachi and share the heartbeat of taiko rhythms.
