North American taiko has grown and evolved for over fifty years. To recognize both our heritage and evolution, TCA has curated a dynamic programming slate that serves to empower, educate, and raise awareness of taiko throughout the community. It is our belief that taiko should be inclusive, respectful, and transparent in how audiences and practitioners access the artform.

We will continue to reduce barriers to taiko through our programs, and we strive to make as much of our resources low-to-no-cost to the community at large.

Our programs not only provide paid opportunities for taiko artists around the world, but they help the taiko community to: SHARE, GATHER, LEARN, CREATE, CELEBRATE, and GROW!
