Support TCA
You can help support our mission to empower the people and advance the art of taiko!
Your donations help support our general operations and programs. You can also specify specific programs to support.
Through additional programs and resources, we stretch individual giving five times on average. Your support goes a long way!
TCA Members provide monthly, annual, or lifetime levels of support to our mission. They receive perks like discounts to NATC and NATC-R, early registration for events, and exclusive deals with our network of TCA Partners.
TCA started as a volunteer-led organization and continues to rely on volunteers to serve on our committees and Board.
If you like fun and thoughtful discussions, drum wrangling at conference, or any and all things taiko, then perhaps YOU could be the newest member of our team!
Our volunteer Board of Directors are important advocates for the taiko community.
The Board seeks members of the taiko community with a desire to uplift voices, guide our programming, and develop long-term plans for TCA.
Regional Ambassadors (RAs) collaborate with various committees to amplify outreach and information sharing. They help with video submissions, social media campaigns, and relaying information to regional taiko groups.
RAs will also maintain regional data, serve as a point of contact, and provide feedback on regional needs. Additionally, they may assist with taiko events and other duties as assigned.
This project seeks to make Obon music accessible for community use through the curation of a collection of free-to-use tracks by artists in the community.
You can contribute to this effort by supporting artists producing the music, contributing your own music, or sharing contacts for musicians you think may be interested.
Do you have a song to share?
Contributing a song to the Taiko Source Song Database is a great way to share your compositions with the community, if you feel so inclined. This can be an avenue to meet new people and build deeper collaboration among taiko groups and players.
Do you know of an upcoming taiko event or project that should be featured in the TCA Beat or Community Calendar? We want to uplift taiko events and projects across the globe. It's now easier than ever to share your event or project with us!
Add your email address to our mailing list to receive Community Announcements, TCA Beat Newsletter, and more delivered to your inbox.
There are new taiko groups forming all the time, all over the world! Help us track our community’s growth and help people find your group by adding it to our Group Map & Directory.
